The project my daughters did with me!

Image
Here's something I'm rather proud of. . . I have raised two successful babysitters. When they were starting out babysitting, I was as nervous as they were! What if something happens? Will they have to cook? What if the kids are hard to handle? I went over instructions with them right until they walked out the door. I canceled my plans and stayed home in case they called for help. When they got home, I'd want all the details and then go over what to do for next time. They got better and better with each job and my nerves calmed down when I realized they were great babysitters who knew how to keep kids safe AND have fun with them at the same time. Hearing from friends and neighbors what awesome babysitters my daughters are made me so proud!   But now they are getting older and getting different jobs, and spending more weekend nights with friends rather than babysitting, they're ready to pass the torch on to younger babysitters. We had the idea to put together a guide/kit ...

Yes, I Photoshop. . .

Warning: This image has been photoshopped. Everyone was upset when a photoshopped Kelly Clarkson appeared on the cover of Self magazine, so I'll be completely honest upfront. . . I photoshop. I photoshop all the time. The day was beautiful, my butt is not. So I photoshop. I really should have just worn my spanx that day, but c'mon! I was out walking! and we stopped to play for a bit. . .

Besides the obvious corrections, I've also been playing with Pioneer Woman's actions. . . Here I used "soft & faded" from set 1.
But thanks, Analeis, I don't have near enough photos of Lucy and I together. I love this one, or, the one with the new butt at least!

LOVE it!!! I need to learn how to photo shop so I can photo shop about 14 things on me in our family photo!
You too are the cutest little pair ever! What a lucky lady Lucy is to have you as her momma!

You have always been a photoshopping genius, Jul. I'll never forget the magic you worked with your engagement photos. I remember wishing you were around in CA when I had mine taken to shave my hips and slice off some arm flab!

HA HA HA! I have to comment on this one, Soeur Luke. You are a jewel, photoshopped or not. I photoshop too, namely my pulsating nose, arms and legs. I love to enhance my eyelashes and poof my stringy/greasy hair. I miss my real photoshop as I am too cheap to pay the $800 for the real deal, but feel too naughty using an illegal copy. So Elements gets me through.

Miss you!
What can I say? Seriously?
