Let's peel back these layers!

juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

Hiking with the Jacksons

My sister, Jenn, and her fam were here last week from Virginia. We did a lot of fun things on the list, including a little hiking trip up to Silver Lake. It is a beautiful loop around the lake by Brighton Ski Resort and is very accessible to people of all abilities, meaning even people in strollers. . . wahoo!

(Please notice my cute nephew, Ethan, and darling neice, Tori. Lucy hung all over Tori and just couldn't get enough of her. Today at church she'd scream every time she saw baby Eleanor. I kind of think she thought it was Tori!"

P.S. Thank you for the spelling correction... for some reason spellcheck didn't know what I meant! LOL :)

How fun! I wish I could have seen Jenn. Kenyon has been wanting to go up to Silver Lake. He thinks that is a hike he can handle. I don't know but we should give it a try. So pretty.
