Let's peel back these layers!

juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

Just like making doll clothes . . .

So our amazing friend, Katherine, took these beautiful pictures of Lucy. . . it's going to be hard to choose which to use for a birth announcement! She really has a good eye and gave us plenty to choose from. Check out her blog to see more of us and all the other beautiful photography she does!

Lucy is still so little, she doesn't fit any of the 0-3 month clothing and have you noticed they just don't make dresses in newborn or preemie sizes? So I made this little dress for her to wear for her big photo shoot. I made it entirely from one Michael Miller fat quarter, that's how small it is!
