Graduation and Teacher Gift Printables - End of the School Year Goodies!

Image
Here it is, Maycember! Once the month of May starts it quickly snowballs into a continuous stream of concerts, recitals, final games, awards ceremonies, graduations and parties! It's almost too much, and yet, how could it be too much? This is it! This is what it's all for! All the hard work of going to school and taking the tests and practicing the piece and dreaming of the celebration, this is the culmination of all that effort!  Over of the years, as I've prepared teachers' gifts and graduation cards to use, I've saved the printable files to use again in the future or make available for others as well.  Here are some of my favorites: I like these green flowers and the Pink & White cookies at Trader Joe's. I thought they made a nice little bundle for either Teacher Appreciation week or a thank you at the end of the year (if you can keep the cookies around long enough!) Two color options available in case you are low on ink!  LINK TO LISTING Cowboy Caviar f...

In search of the perfect travelling shoe. . .

So, hubby and I are going to Japan soon to meet up and travel with my brother, Jon, who lives in Guam. I'm so excited, I can hardly wait. But I'm not ready. . . I still haven't found the perfect shoe, the one that I can walk and walk and walk in and not even notice I'm wearing. The one that I slip off at the door of a Buddhist temple and not ruin my experience (and everyone else's) with the horrible smell of my own feet (let's be honest, this happens with cheap shoes, which I happen to gravitate towards because they are cheap.) The one that will look cute in pictures and not like I'm coming from an 80's aerobics class. . . The one that slips on and off easily at airport security checkpoints and can withstand inclement weather. Am I asking too much?

Here is the short list. Any good or bad experiences with these brands? Other suggestions? What is your favorite pair of travelling shoes?

I have some tsubo shoes I got from zappos and I love them. I wore them in New York last fall. They are kind of Mary Jane style with a velcro strap.

i love privos but they make my feet STINK. (gross, i know.)

they are super comfortable through.

i'm jealous you are going to Japan!
Sauconys are comfy, and I don't remember an unpleasant smell.

By the way, i am totally jealous of your trip.

i love a good shoe my dear. my i also love to buy cheap shoes too - and i would recommend with such a venture to go big, but if they do still get a bit of a stench, then try a little baking soda, it can work some magic. happy feet, happy shopping, happier japan!

Ok how fantastic is it that you guys are going to Japan! I have a specail place in my heart for that little country! You guys oughta look up Lane's parents... they are on a mission there. (coming home soon though)
Ok, so doing hair and being on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day 4 days a week, I have had a pair of Dansko's and even though they aren't always the "most stylish" shoe they are fantastic! I use to tell people (when i wore them in a salon) that they were like pillows... cozy!
When you guys going and for how long? Is little Lucy Juicy going with you?
I was eating at Pei Wei in Sugar House 2 days ago and was sure hoping I would run into you guys!
Keep us posted on Japan!
