Graduation and Teacher Gift Printables - End of the School Year Goodies!

Image
Here it is, Maycember! Once the month of May starts it quickly snowballs into a continuous stream of concerts, recitals, final games, awards ceremonies, graduations and parties! It's almost too much, and yet, how could it be too much? This is it! This is what it's all for! All the hard work of going to school and taking the tests and practicing the piece and dreaming of the celebration, this is the culmination of all that effort!  Over of the years, as I've prepared teachers' gifts and graduation cards to use, I've saved the printable files to use again in the future or make available for others as well.  Here are some of my favorites: I like these green flowers and the Pink & White cookies at Trader Joe's. I thought they made a nice little bundle for either Teacher Appreciation week or a thank you at the end of the year (if you can keep the cookies around long enough!) Two color options available in case you are low on ink!  LINK TO LISTING Cowboy Caviar f...

So, we're shut-ins again. Poor little Lucy has RSV and an ear infection. No fun for anyone involved. She's wheezy and coughing and all stuffed up. She likes her funny, hoarse voice, though. She keeps making the funniest noises and sounds, just to hear herself. Anyhow, we've quarantined ourselves so as not to spread this plague to anyone else, but some little pixies brought us a treat today. How can you not feel better just looking at this cheery little cupcake?
I'm pleased to announce that in the last month, not one, but two cupcake places have opened in the Salt Lake area. I've already mentioned Mini's in a previous post, so I'll put in a plug for So Cupcake. It's been featured on our local news with this cool story about how an 8 year old girl created this place after becoming a Make a Wish recipient! How cool! (I felt like a Make a Wish recipient when this little bundle came to my door! Thanks, guys!)
I'm also pleased to tell you that they are different enough that you do not have to declare loyalty to one or the other, you can like them both! Like I can like both Cafe Rio and Bajios and not feel disloyal when I go to one instead of the other. I can love the Barbacoa Pork salad at the former and the Pineapple Shrimp salad at the latter and no one's feelings get hurt. Same with Mini's and So Cupcake! I'd say Mini's is a little more grown up and concentrates on crazy concoctions and gourmet flavors whereas So Cupcake is all about traditional taste and bright colors. That's just an initial observation. AND I just now got wind of a third cupcake place, this time in Sandy, called SugarRush Cupcakes. This may warrant further investigation.
