Graduation and Teacher Gift Printables - End of the School Year Goodies!

Image
Here it is, Maycember! Once the month of May starts it quickly snowballs into a continuous stream of concerts, recitals, final games, awards ceremonies, graduations and parties! It's almost too much, and yet, how could it be too much? This is it! This is what it's all for! All the hard work of going to school and taking the tests and practicing the piece and dreaming of the celebration, this is the culmination of all that effort!  Over of the years, as I've prepared teachers' gifts and graduation cards to use, I've saved the printable files to use again in the future or make available for others as well.  Here are some of my favorites: I like these green flowers and the Pink & White cookies at Trader Joe's. I thought they made a nice little bundle for either Teacher Appreciation week or a thank you at the end of the year (if you can keep the cookies around long enough!) Two color options available in case you are low on ink!  LINK TO LISTING Cowboy Caviar f...

little projects

This was an impromptu project, Lucy's idea. She wanted to make ghosts for a little Halloween project. I was just thinking of using construction paper and glue, but she definitely wanted something white to drape over something else. So we came up with these little puppets. Ghost Puppets Materials needed: Kleenex wide popsicle sticks glue stick markers For some really fun toddler and kid projects and activities, you've got to check out my friend Janelle's blog, Where are my Mary Jane's? She updates frequently and has fantastic ideas. She'll also try other people's projects and let you know the reality of how it goes with the little ones. Cute stuff.

cute, a chinchilla!

The other day we drove by a kid in the neighborhood sitting on on his porch step with a sign that said "Silly Bandz for Sale." Always suckers for an enterprising kid trying to earn a buck, we stopped to get a handful of the popular bracelets for Lucy. She and I were sorting through trying to find which ones we wanted to get, and I kept getting them wrong. The 8 year old actually laughed out loud at me. Here is what I saw: Here is what they really are: Oops.
