juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

Lucy's first day of preschool and

Emmie smiling. . . Now this is by no means the first time she has smiled, its just her first documented smile. People tell you newborns don't smile, that its just gas, but I don't believe it. Emmie's been smiling since she was only a week old and it was definitely in reaction to being picked up or smiled at. But I'm so mesmerized by her cute little cheeks and that amazing gummy smile, I never get my camera, I'm just living in the moment. Anyhow, I finally looked away for a second and grabbed the camera. . .
