Let's peel back these layers!

Image
juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

happy new year!

There are some bloggers out there who take beautiful pictures of their beautiful party spreads before all their beautiful guests arrive, but I'm not one of them. I'm not that organized and my party usually is not entirely spread until my guests (who are beautiful) arrive with all their tasty confections.

So here are pictures of the aftermath. . . in my mind I like these pictures because there are memories attached and not just plans.

You always throw such good parties. I love the party hat! Someday I will plan a New Year's Eve Party. It always comes so fast that I haven't even had time to think about it.

I'm kinda obsessed with those pictures. Blow me away. You got quite the touch on photos, parties, Lucyness, and all things cute.

Your hat was my favorite. You are right, the pictures of after the party are much more meaningful. Happy New Year!
