Let's peel back these layers!

juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

New baby quilt. . .

Here is a baby quilt i just finished for a friend's new baby, Katherine Grace. It is hand-quilted, 36x36" with a beautiful Amy Butler print on the back. . . you can't go wrong if you have some AB somewhere in the quilt! Also, the white is an Egyptian cotton and combined with the high quality A.B. fabric, this feels like silk to touch, I'm not kidding.

I am moving back to Utah and hiring you to teach me how to quilt! Seriously, I can't get over how much I love your quilts. Maybe it is time to post a "how to get started quilting when you have no idea what you are doing and live far away in Philly" blog!

Cute! You've got some serious talent! Oh, and about the Cheesecake Factory, we only waited 25 minutes, but it is worth a 2 hour wait if you have to!

This quilt is amazing! I love how simple and elegant it is. That is only lucky baby girl? Is the pattern your own design? If so, would you be willing to share the design?
