Graduation and Teacher Gift Printables - End of the School Year Goodies!

Image
Here it is, Maycember! Once the month of May starts it quickly snowballs into a continuous stream of concerts, recitals, final games, awards ceremonies, graduations and parties! It's almost too much, and yet, how could it be too much? This is it! This is what it's all for! All the hard work of going to school and taking the tests and practicing the piece and dreaming of the celebration, this is the culmination of all that effort!  Over of the years, as I've prepared teachers' gifts and graduation cards to use, I've saved the printable files to use again in the future or make available for others as well.  Here are some of my favorites: I like these green flowers and the Pink & White cookies at Trader Joe's. I thought they made a nice little bundle for either Teacher Appreciation week or a thank you at the end of the year (if you can keep the cookies around long enough!) Two color options available in case you are low on ink!  LINK TO LISTING Cowboy Caviar f...

The House, an update

No cute pictures today. I'm sans computer and sans internet. . . thank heavens for the Public Library, eh? (April did a cute job describing our local branch, where I'm sitting right now.)

Here is what's happened and what's happening over the last couple crazy weeks:

Last week:
  • Wednesday - Drywallers finish mudding and taping, floor guys do prep
  • Thursday - Drywallers prime walls, floor guys lay wood floor throughout
  • Friday - Cabinet installers build cupboards
  • Saturday - tile guy lays tile in bathroom,
  • Saturday - WE MOVE! Phase I, from condo to garage at new house
  • Sunday - First night sleeping on mattress in basement

This week:

  • Monday - Finish cabinet installation
  • Tues-Sat - Paint and trim
  • All week - clean and touch up condo
  • Thurs - renters move in to condo May 1!

Next week:

  • Monday - My mom arrives to help with Lucy
  • Mon-Thurs? - Floors sanded and finished
  • ? - Countertop installed
  • Appliances arrive
  • Friday - My dad comes in town to help
  • Saturday? - Phase II of the move, from garage into our new home!

From now till forever:

  • yardwork, fix things, tell hubby what to do, hubby magically fixes things better than how I told him to, play, have bbq's, enjoy new home

I stopped by with Richard tonight so he could measure out the counter top - how beautiful it is looking! Great design job! You rock.
