Let's peel back these layers!

juliannlaw Here is a closeup of the endpapers in my debut picture book, THE WORKD’S LONGEST SOCK. I work digitally in Adobe Photoshop but the program doesn’t do it all for me! I knit all the pixels by hand! Haha! I do have things I do to help me work quickly and efficiently, though, like using layers. Here you get to see me take off those layers one by one till we are back at nothing but a background. The World's Longest Sock is now available on  Amazon ,  Barnes and Noble ,  Target , or wherever you  buy books !

cool things found at the house, part 1

This solitary little card was found lying on the floor of the downstairs kitchen when my friend was there helping me clean. (Annie, did you see where it came from?) I wish the rest of the deck would appear as magically. I want to make a tiny frame for it! I've enlarged it for your screen, its really only 1 5/8" by 2 1/2", just little!

Yes - I did see it in the back closet under the vent just as I stuck the shop vac in there. I thought it was long gone before I could grab it. It must have fallen out. It is great!

oh that is so cute! I love little Betty - she'll look so good in a little frame. Lucky.
