Graduation and Teacher Gift Printables - End of the School Year Goodies!

Image
Here it is, Maycember! Once the month of May starts it quickly snowballs into a continuous stream of concerts, recitals, final games, awards ceremonies, graduations and parties! It's almost too much, and yet, how could it be too much? This is it! This is what it's all for! All the hard work of going to school and taking the tests and practicing the piece and dreaming of the celebration, this is the culmination of all that effort!  Over of the years, as I've prepared teachers' gifts and graduation cards to use, I've saved the printable files to use again in the future or make available for others as well.  Here are some of my favorites: I like these green flowers and the Pink & White cookies at Trader Joe's. I thought they made a nice little bundle for either Teacher Appreciation week or a thank you at the end of the year (if you can keep the cookies around long enough!) Two color options available in case you are low on ink!  LINK TO LISTING Cowboy Caviar f...

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate far too much. . . I did. We went down to Dallas to see our good friends, the Pratts. They graciously hosted the largest Thanksgiving dinner I've ever seen. . . friends, family, cousins, neighbors, colleagues, probably 40 people or more! They've been renovating a beautiful, old, craft-style house and have done a magnificent job getting it ready for this weekend. I think they've been burning some midnight oil to get it done. After that big event, we were able to relax and visit and enjoy the holiday weekend. We even helped put up their 11 foot Christmas tree. . .

Saturday, Annie and I went and had pedicures, which is always a treat, and then stopped for chocolate here as an additional treat. . . talk about being pampered!

That night, we all went for dinner to Tillman's Roadhouse, an amazing restaurant with a hip take on traditional roadhouse fare. . .

And after a memorable and delicious meal (I had chicken fried hanger steak with buttermilk mashed potatoes and charred poblano gravy), we roasted home-made marshmallows on a little portable flame and ate them on home-made cinnamon graham crackers. These Table Side S'mores were To Die For and just eclipsed Chinook's Blackberry Cobbler as my favorite eating-out dessert in America. . .
